Jodhpur is the city of foodies and I know you all agree to it. There are a number of restaurants, cafes and street food joints in Jodhpur. Among many, there are a few hidden food joints you might be missing out on. Here I present to you 5 lesser known pocket-friendly eateries serving yummilicious food you have been missing out on all this while.

Naveen Juice Centre

Naveen Juice Centre located at Jaljog Chouraha serves not just juice but also amazing food. The sandwiches you get here are to die for and are much better than ones served at big restaurants and popular food chains. The South Indian served here is equally good. They also serve ah-mazing thick shakes and cold coffee.

The prices are really affordable and quality of food is great.

Highway Delight

Highway Delight is an amazing dhaba cum restaurant on Pal road, Jodhpur. The owner calls it a modern dhaba and I honestly feel they serve better food than other over hyped dhabas and cafes in and around the area. The interiors are colourful and have a happy go lucky feel to it. They have a wide spread Indian Menu and authentic taste.

Whatever you pick from the menu will leave you amazed with its delicious flavours. You won’t go bonkers dining here as the prices are economical.

New Arora Restaurant

New Arora Restaurant situated on DPS chauraha is really popular among the residents of the area. They have a wide menu and serves everything from Fast food to Indian main course, South Indian, Snacks and what not. They also have a bakery and have amazing cakes. They honestly serve best Khaman and Mirchi Bada in Jodhpur.

The food here is worth every penny and they serve delicacies on every plate.

Gypsy Dhaba

Everyone knows Gypsy and is a hot spot for every meal in Jodhpur. Gypsy Dhaba isn’t as popular as Gypsy restaurant but the food they serve is scrumptious. The dhaba is full of Bollywood. There are posters of actors and movies on the walls. The Indian food served by them never fails to impress. It is a perfect family dine out food joint and is a personal favourite of me and my family.

Once you visit them, you’ll be a regular customer I promise.

Samosa Vala

The Samosa thela on Airforce chauraha serves the most amazing samosa ever and charges as low as Rs 5 for per piece. The samosas are piping hot and mouth watering. The guy never compromises on the quality or taste. You’ll be surprised with every bite. You must check out his stall for crispy crunchy goodies.

Look beyond reviews and ratings and visit these places. Often, truly good eateries are hidden away in some back lanes. Life is too short and nothing brings people together like good food.
