No matter how many restaurants you visit, nothing satiate your cravings for street food. It is the comfort food of many the taste lingers in the mouth for the longest. Jodhpur being a foody city has ‘n’ number of food joints.

Here I bring to you 5 street food you must have when in Jodhpur.

Samosa At Surya Shahi Namkeen

No matter where you are in India you can easily spot samosa stalls, but samosa served at Surya Shahi Namkeen are exceptionally good. It is a super popular shop in Jodhpur and there namkeen and samosa goes sold out as they arrive. To have a taste of this special samosa, you need to reach the shop early in morning and wait for your chance to grab one. But trust me, the wait is worth every bite.

Mirchi Bada At Arora Namkeen

Jodhpurites can be often heard saying, ”Jodhpur aaye aur mirchi bada nahi khaya toh kya kiya”. This delicacy is a speciality of the region and is undoubtedly most popular breakfast and tea-time snack among people. I personally love Mirchi Bada from Arora Namkeen. They are served hot, spicy and with delicious chutney. Have a bite of the Mirchi Bada from this shop and you won’t stop coming back for more.

Mawa Kachori At Jodhpur Sweets

Jodhpurites love their sweets a little too much. Mawa Kachori is the goodness and richness loaded in a kachori and especially the one at Jodhpur Misthan Bhandar are to die for. Though there are many other famous shops, I feel the quality and the taste of Mawa Kachori by Jodhpur sweets is unbeatable. It is a very heavy dessert and is served with chasni. After you are done gorging onto them, get some packed for your friends and family.

They are served with mouth-watering sambhar and nariyal chutney. Haven’t tried it yet? Go try NOW.

Pani Puri At Shashtri Circle

Shashtri Circle is one of the biggest and coolest parks of the city.
