Four Youth Organisations in Jaipur, Breaking the Myth that Youth of Jaipur is laid-back!

Over the last few years, youth-led organisations have had a growing impact on advocacy and activism in Jaipur. They are leading the movements that haven’t been moved before and supporting the causes that haven’t been underpinned before. They have started to rise above their individual identity and discern their social identity. They are not only concerned about their own betterment and growth, but also they appear to be making headway in uplifting the society and the nation.
There are a number of youth organisations operating in Jaipur which are not following the conventional ideas of working, but exploring new avenues. With their percipient vision, they are committed to bringing the required changes in the established system and to fetch freshness that the country can use to give itself an image makeover.


From humble beginnings, AIESEC in Jaipur has grown to become one of the best local chapters in the AIESEC network. They provide their members with a platform to discover their leadership potential.
They host various International conferences, seminars and workshops to enlighten the young minds and provide them with cross-cultural global internships and volunteer exchange experiences across the globe, with a focus to empower the youth so they can make a positive impact on society.
AIESEC Jaipur conducts a variety of events every year, like ‘Global Village’, which is said to be the biggest celebration of cultures from around the world. People represent their nation and exhibit their food, costumes, dance, music and traditions.
Other events like ‘Baal Kalakaar – Impressions for future’ and ‘Youth Speak Forum’ – the forum aims to create an environment where people from diverse backgrounds can cross-pollinate ideas, share insights and gain new perspectives to create actionable outcomes to push the world forward.

Indian Youth Parliament

It is a platform where youth from all ideologies share their opinions. It seeks to transform the outlook of young minds for their involvement and access in social and rational causes. IYP aims at creating a common and approachable platform for the Young Student Leaders to come and share the opinions. It works to facilitate interaction with eminent leaders belonging to different sectors.
IYP conducts a very unique and nationally significant 1-day annual Youth Assembly in the month of April and Indian Youth Parliament for 3 days, from 15th to 17th September every year at Jaipur.

Pravah Jaipur Initiative (PJI) is an ancillary of Pravah Delhi – founded in 1993. PJI works towards youth development and social justice in Jaipur. It aims to create precisely a platform in the form of a Youth Resource Centre for young people who wish to create social change. It is one such organisation where the youth of the city is free to discover and enhance their potential as change makers.
They organize campaigns and programmes like ‘Khulla Manch’, ‘Community Video Unit’, ‘Comics and theater workshop’, ‘Peace Campaign’ etc. that are hosted by school students, youth groups and teachers. Also, ‘Youth Cafe’ is operational on every second Saturday of the month, where young people can get access to the library or they watch art films that are based on some social affair.

Model United Nations

Model United Nations(MUN) is an educational simulation or academic competition in which students learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. MUN involves and teaches research, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
First session of Jaipur Model UN is scheduled in the month of June, 2017. It going to be an intellectually stimulating and rich experience. So, fellas! It is our chance to ignite change and train ourselves and get ready to become the leaders of tomorrow.
