With every passing year, Jaipur is seeing new startups and organizations hosting innumerable events for the city. From open mics to workshops, here is a list of the top 5 events to look forward to this month.

  1. RAAG:

Wish to experience a night full of musical magic and delve in the tunes of classical music with nature’s tunes with a beautiful sunrise? RAAG is just the event to look forward to! An overnight recital of Indian Classical Music, RAAG will bring together India’s most talented artists together to give Jaipur an experience of a lifetime. It will see artists like Padmashree Ustad Moinuddin Khan with his Sarangi recital, Smt. Kaushiki Chakraborty with her Vocal recital, Padmashree Vishwamohan Bhatt with his Mohanveena recital, Padmashree Gundecha Brother’s Dhruvpad recital and Padmabhushan Rajan & Sajan Mishra with their Vocal recital. The event will begin at 10 pm and will spread its magic till 7 am.

The event is scheduled on 11th November, 2016 at Madhyavarti, Jawahar Kala Kendra. And the best part? The ENTRY is FREE!! Just imagine a beautiful evening with splendid artists under a night full of stars in the perfect weather followed by a beautiful sunrise and recitals that will leave you mesmerized.

  1. TIGER SPOTTING, CAMPING & MORE IN RANTHAMBORE:

Ranthambhore, a place favorite to wildlife enthusiasts and photographers brings a lot more apart from the wildlife including rural life experience, exploring the historical fort and ancient temples, and the local arts and handicrafts. The 3 day trip is packed with adventures such as camping under the sheet of stars by the river amidst the green world along with bonfire, sumptuous barbeque and traditional meals prepared on the traditional chulha, tiger spotting, historical fort exploration, Ghadiyal safari in Chambal, experiencing traditional dance, music and folklores with much more.

  1. BASICS OF NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP:

Hosted by The Ranthambhore Bagh, the 3-day workshop is designed for beginners with basic experience of cameras. The idea of the workshop is to build a strong foundation for the participants by teaching them in three days what they would have taken a few years to understand on their own. The cost for participating in the workshop is Rs 15815 per person on twin sharing; it includes 2 nights stay on twin sharing at The Ranthambhore Bagh, Station transfers (if required), extra breakfast, lunch and dinner on Day 3. The workshop would be conducted by Aditya Singh. The workshop is scheduled from Nov 12 at 9 AM to Nov 14 at 4 PM

Jaipur has recently witnessed a rise in events such as poetry recitations and poetry slams. Not many people know the difference between these terms and so, to acquaint the city with these beautiful art forms Hats Off Poetry Enthusiasts bring a workshop to explain and clarify the primitives of performance poetry and its significance as an art form. The workshop is scheduled on 13 November from 5 pm to 7 pm at Café Maskaa Talk.
