”ICG is not a name, it’s a brand”, and every Jaipurite is well aware of this. International College For Girls started in 1995 has come a long way and today it stands tall & gorgeous. Apart from academic and non-academic excellence, ICG has given some beautiful faces to the world we all take proud in. Here are six ICGians making it big in their respective fields.
Jigyasa Singh became an instant sensation after her debut on National Television as main lead Thapki in serial Thapki Pyar Ki. She is considered as one of the most beautiful and hard-working actors on small screen. She was nominated for Best Debutante as Thapki in Colors Golden Petal Awards 2016.
Anjita Poonia is donning the role of lead actor Gajj in Sony SAB’s longest running comedy show Chidiyagarh. She is already a popular face of television and TRP’s of her show are always high. She was a famous stage face of ICG and participated in several college dramas during her graduation.
PALKI SHARMA UPADHYAY
Palki Sharma has made a big name for herself in Media industry. She started working with CNN-IBN as a news anchor and copy editor now doubles up as an entrepreneur. Fellas! She was also awarded for the best news reader in 2007. She has anchored and produced several awards winning shows.
She is smart, she is funny, she loves Bollywood and she is a popular radio jockey. RJ Shivangi hosts VELLAPANTI.COM on 93.5 Red FM every morning and is a household name. Who haven’t heard ‘Shivangi ke sath tu bhi vella ho ja re.’
Aruna Rajoria is an IAS officer and is serving nation since 2003. She is an Indian Administrative Services officer of Assam cadre. She was a bright student of ICG and cleared one of the most difficult exams i.e. UPSC in one go and brought glory to Jaipur.
Surbhi Misra is a Squash Player and an International star. She has participated in various National and International championships and her World Ranking was 79. She started her own sports management company, Surbhi Misra Sports Foundation in 2012. She believes in encouraging young and raw talent and is cultivating sports culture in India.
Once an ICGian is always an ICGian. We are super proud of each one of them and Jaipurite should be as well.
