“I announce to name one village in India as Trump Village,” said India’s top sociologist and the Founder of Sulabh International and Chief Bindeshwar Pathak. He was in Washington DC to attend a community event where he announced he will change the name of Village Mewat in Rajasthan as Trump Village, after the name of US President Donald Trump stating it will strengthen India-US relationship.

Don’t panic already, as soon as these words left his mouth, officials from the state government of Rajasthan denied any such plans. The secretary of revenue department Mr. Alok pronounced “It is the government which renames a village and there are laid down procedures for that. As of now, there is no such proposal with the department to name a village after the US President. I have nothing to comment on what Mr.Pathak has said,”

Alwar District Collector Rajan Vishal also denied of any such plan and came out clear that no common man has a right to change the name of any village, power lies only in the hands of the government. We are thanking our stars for the same otherwise how awkward it would have been to have a whole village named after Mr. Trump. The World don’t seem to handle one Trump very well, we sure don’t need more of him (in any way) especially in India.
